Product photos with your phone
The photo is the first thing a buyer sees. Good light matters more than a costly camera.
- Shoot near a window in daylight. Switch off the flash and room lights.
- Use a plain background: a white sheet, a wooden table or a jute mat.
- Wipe the camera lens first, and tap on the product so it is sharp.
- Take at least 4 photos: front, a close-up of the detail, the product in use, and one with your hand for size.
- Keep colours true. Don't use heavy filters: the buyer should get what they saw.
